I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Guahån & lived there for most of my life. After graduating high school, I decided to take a leap of faith & move to Seattle to attend school & pursue my dreams of business. With no financial support, the costs of living & school became expensive, which pushed me to focus on my career path instead. Working in different industries and positions with no growth helped me to understand that I wanted bigger things for myself. When the pandemic hit, my family was hit as well with my husband medically retiring from the military, fewer working hours for me, & no childcare for my 4-year-old son. I knew I needed to take control of my life & make a change!
I decided to capitalize on my cooking & crafting skills & used those hobbies to start a meal prep & crafting business. This experience shifted my focus to marketing, and I immediately started applying for positions in the marketing industry. Being able to learn, while progressing in my career, drew my attention to the Envision Executives Team. After just 5 days, I was promoted from an entry-level trainee to a leader! My journey here thus far has given me confidence in my abilities as an entrepreneur, leader, & professional fundraiser! The best part is I get to help people along the way & my family gets to watch me grow.
